How to use · FAQ
Does every option have the same chance?
Yes — every slice has the same chance. The wheel uses your browser’s crypto.getRandomValues to pick one slice without bias, then stops on it. If you type the same option on two lines, it gets two slices, so it can come up twice as often.
Can I use it as a random name picker?
Yes. Type one name per line and spin. The result shows the full name and its number.
To pick the next person without repeats, delete the name that came up and spin again. The wheel is redrawn every time you change the list.
How many options can I add?
2 to 30 options, one per line, up to 80 characters each. Long text is shortened on the wheel, but the result shows it in full. With 13 or more options the wheel shows numbers, and you can see every option in the numbered list below.
Can I turn off the spin animation or save the result?
If Reduce motion is on in your device settings, the wheel shows the result right away without spinning. The odds are the same. Your options and results aren’t saved — use “Copy result” to keep them. While the wheel spins, editing and spinning again are locked.
