What can I use it for?
Showing a short message, big, to someone far away.
Common uses: a “LOOK HERE” sign at a concert or fan meeting, a name sign at airport arrivals, cheering at a ballgame, a birthday party message, or showing your destination to a taxi driver somewhere noisy.
Type your message and press Full screen — the whole screen becomes the sign. You can also tap one of the example messages to start.
How do I make it easier to read from far away?
Turn your phone sideways and set the brightness to maximum. In landscape the letters get much bigger.
Red or yellow letters on a black background read best from a distance. Keep it short — a scrolling sign only shows a few letters at a time.
For a longer message, set the direction to Still. It stays in the middle of the screen and shrinks to fit.
Full screen doesn’t work, or my screen turns off
Some browsers, like Safari on iPhone, block full screen. There the button changes to “Fill the screen” and the sign fills the page instead. The address bar may stay visible.
Keeping the screen on only works in browsers that allow it. If yours doesn’t, we tell you when the sign opens — set your phone’s auto-lock time longer in Settings.
Can I send my sign to a friend?
Press Copy link to copy a link with your message, colors, speed and effect. When your friend opens it, the same sign appears.
The message is stored only after the # in the link. Browsers don’t send that part to the server. Anyone with the link can still read the message, so don’t put anything private in it.
